- 2 Texas Oranges
- small orange-flavored Jello package
- 1 cup of water, divided
Slice oranges in half. Using a spoon, scoop out all the flesh, leaving only the skin. Reserve juice. In a medium bowl, add Jello and ½ cup boiling water. When Jello has dissolved, add additional ½ cup of cold water. Pour liquid Jello into orange halves. Refrigerate for approximately 4 hours, or until firm.
To serve, slice each half into 3 wedges.
Quick Tip: Use a juicer to juice the fruit first. Then you have fresh squeezed juice, AND cleaned out orange shells.
